About Us

Kirsty Marmarellis and Beverly Brentnall have worked together professionally as successful Wedding Planners and Tour Operators based in South Africa

They were privileged to attend a life changing “Introduction to Metaphysics” course at the Cape Town MetaVarsity, which changed their whole perspective on their working life.

Already highly aware of the problems involved with sustaining the environment, the course crystallised their focus on finding a way to translate their ethics into their business life, and thus Green Weddings South Africa was born!

Kirsty lives with her husband and two young girls, and enjoys spending time in the beautiful South African outdoors with her family.

Beverly lives with her husband and two Labradors in the Somerset West area of Cape Town. She enjoys her weekly yoga classes, painting classes and walking in the nearby Helderberg Nature Reserve and on the beach

"It is like they are handing me over in trust and love" Watched by their children and the Reverend Peter Fox, Victoria and Jonathan recite their Vows. Victoria looked beautiful in a design by South African couturier Gert Van Der Merwe.
